Breaking Away from The Routine with Less Distraction

Breaking Away from The Routine with Less Distraction

Friday is finally here, and we are excited to welcome you back to another edition of Privy Presents, a newsletter curated by the Privy team to discuss topics on digital trust, innovation, and beyond.

We’re approaching the end of March, and in Indonesia, that means a unique time of reflection and reconnection. Two major holidays are right around the corner, they are the Bali Day of Silence (Nyepi) and Eid al-Fitr. With many people taking extended time off to return to their hometown—a cherished tradition known as mudik. It’s the perfect time to pause, take a breath, and recharge.

In today’s edition, let’s talk about how to make your break truly meaningful with less stress and fewer distractions.

Plan your trip thoroughly

We assume you have your tickets ready, because if you have plans to return to your hometown for the holidays, booking tickets at the last minute isn’t really a good idea.

It is important to take the time to plan your trip, create a budget, and choose the best travel times. Be aware that peak traffic typically occurs three days before Eid and on the day before Eid. It’s wise to take an early leave from work so you can travel before the expected rush.

Additionally, don’t forget to check your important documents before traveling, whether you’re visiting relatives within the country or abroad.

Finish tasks ahead of time

A peaceful break starts with peace of mind, and that comes from leaving work in good shape. Here are some quick tips to help you wrap things up:

  • Prioritize and complete urgent tasks first

  • Back up important files to a secure server or cloud

  • Finalize documents, contracts, invoices, agreements, and get them signed ahead of time.

  • Use Privy for seamless digital signing anytime, anywhere, even when you’re already out of town.

  • Inform your team of your leave to coordinate efforts and avoid miscommunication regarding undelivered tasks.

Stay healthy before hitting the road

A long trip can be exhausting, with varying distances and traffic conditions. Before hitting the road, make sure your vehicle is in good condition. Get a good night’s rest, stick to nutritious meals and don’t forget to take your vitamins to keep your energy levels up.

A little preparation goes a long way in helping you arrive safely and stress-free.

Just like how this holiday is a time for renewal, Privy is embracing a fresh new look too! We’ve updated our mobile app with a smoother, more intuitive design to make your digital signing experience even better. Now, it’s easier than ever to get things done.

You’ll also find a new Privy 101 menu inside the app, where you can access step-by-step tutorials and video guides to help you make the most of your experience. Update your app and explore what’s new!
