3 lessons from March

Thursday, 8:13am

March 27th, 2025

Mom is resting her legs.

Baby bro is by the door waiting for the bus.

There is a package of eggs in a box on the chair.

It's sunny — 37 degrees here in New York.

Let's talk about 3 lessons from March.

------------------------------

The lessons you learn can impact your life.

Here are 3 lessons I learned in March.

1. Celebrate people for their milestones.

I started messaging people to celebrate reaching a follower milestone.

Even if it's 10,000 or 1,000 followers.

A milestone is to celebrate people for their hard work.

2. Thanking people is thanking you.

Yesterday, I received a DM from a friend.

This is what she told me.

"Hi Craig, I hope you are not worried about your Vit-D. Once you supplement or get time in the sun, you will be fine. I have read that it takes 6 months to compensate for the blood drawn. If you experienced any symptoms and they disappear, that is a good sign."

She read my article about my health checkup last week.

I thanked her for the message.

And will focus on getting some time in the sun.

Take the time to thank someone who messaged you. They will appreciate it.

3. Value the people who value you.

I have a friend who was taking care of her Mom. She's a caregiver.

She asked me to pick up a gift, since she couldn't make it.

I got the gift and presented it to her.

It's a stress ball and a small prayer book.

She thanked me for it. She said she needed it.

I texted her yesterday to check in and see how she was feeling.

She felt better and thanked me for checking in.

Check in with your loved ones, friends, and co-workers. You can do it.

See you in the next one!

Talk soon,

Craig

P.S. Which of these (1-3) stood out to you?

A beautiful lesson to appreciate the moments and people that truly matter. It's the small gestures, the thoughtful check-ins, and celebrating others' wins that really enrich our lives. It's easy to overlook the small things, but they truly make life brighter. Thank you for the gentle lesson to appreciate the people around us more. Happy weekend to you and your loved ones:)
