2025: A Year of Acceleration at Sterling Specialty Chemicals

As we kick off the new year, I’m excited to share Sterling Specialty Chemicals 's vision and some key goals for 2025. Building on the successes of 2024, which marked a pivotal year of transition for us, this year promises to be one of acceleration toward new growth opportunities.

Advancing Polymer Manufacturing

We are continuing our growth in polymers with two significant milestones: the completion of the Mobile emulsion polyacrylamide manufacturing expansion and the bio-AMD expansion at Aberdeen. These projects will not only enhance our capabilities but also broaden our global reach, with additional polymer manufacturing expansions in the pipeline. I look forward to sharing more details as these projects come to fruition.

Exciting Developments in Surfactants

One of the most exciting areas for us in 2025 is our expansion into surfactant chemistries. With production already underway at our Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and India facilities, we’re well-positioned to serve oil and gas and other industrial markets. This expansion opens up adjacent application areas, such as stimulation and cEOR, where we’re already making strides through tailored customer solutions.

Strengthening Global Integration

As part of the Praana group, we’ll be leveraging shared resources to solidify Sterling’s position as an integrated and truly global company. This synergy is key to our ability to grow sustainably and serve our customers more effectively.
