I started my consulting entity at the beginning of 2020. When deciding what to name it, I was looking for simple but also with a message. I chose the target ball - the pallino - in bocce because it signals my drive for the business and also is a nod to my heritage. The goal of the game is to bowl four balls closest to the pallino, a small white target. It’s a relaxing game played on uneven surfaces such as lawns. The game is not complicated but not easy, and changes each time you play. This is what I had in mind when founding our consultancy and naming it Pallino. Learn More: https://lnkd.in/gXafQF_W

Judgment ⚖ - Western Cape High Court - application for leave to appeal – test for leave to appeal – firstly, reasonable prospects of success – secondly, where the court comes to the conclusion that there is some other compelling reason why the appeal should be heard. “…The conclusion is that the appeal does not bear prospects of success is significantly strengthened when one considers that the determination of a just and equitable remedy is a discretion in the true sense and an appellate court may not interfere unless it is clear that the choice the court has preferred is at odds with the law.” #CourtJudgment #LeaveToAppeal #LegalUpdate #Law #AnnekeWhelanAttorneys #LitigationAttorneys #CommercialLitigation

Welington Zarú ('04, CM) | 177-180 cm | 65 kg 🔰 Some call him "the little magician," others simply "Zarú." Regardless of how his name is pronounced, Welington Cauan is someone you can't overlook. A player with magic in his feet, he shines in the modest ranks of Madureira. While he may not be among the top performers at the #Copinha (his team exited the competition early), even in such teams, you can find true 💎. His talent might attract interest from clubs seeking reinforcements but lacking the budget for elite 🇧🇷 players. 🔸 Zarú isn't your classic playmaker — (https://lnkd.in/g5MqG42w) he's unafraid to take risks. His dribbling is his primary weapon, and he doesn't just attempt it in "low-risk areas"; he takes on opponents right in the heart of the action, where every mistake can be fatal. Using his body and exceptional ball control, he not only evades defenders but also advances the ball and creates space for teammates. Zarú has a knack for finding unexpected solutions even in the most challenging situations. He roams freely across the pitch, initiating attacks both from deep positions and in the final third. Zarú masterfully alters the rhythm of play, delivering precise diagonal passes across the field. Keep an eye on this guy. Zarú isn't just a young talent—he already looks ready for a higher level. #scout // #football

Yard House Best on tap 2024 in the books. Congratulations to all the bartenders that made it some of the best talents out there till next year. By all means not an easy competition pour testing, detailed recipe knowledge, beer knowledge, blind beer tasting, wine knowledge description taste profiles, along with speed and hospitality. The judging, comes down to a fraction an ounce. A lineup of beers and describing the taste profile and what type of beer it is what kind of style it is. What kind of varietal that wine is just by the smell and taste. Is it two drops of bitters or four is it a lemon or an orange ?Doing all this while lineup of judges analyzes your every move. Do you have what it takes to best on tap?
Ten of our top bartenders brought some serious skills to our Best on Tap competition yesterday — but only one walked away a winner. Congratulations to Andrew Stafford from Denver, CO — he's bringing home the title and an epic $5,000 grand prize! 🏆

As someone who never played the game (very well!), I’ve always gravitated towards insight from players. It can be a coaching super power! Listen to Jonathan in this short video and you can understand how the best players impacted him in the game and for me the most important part of impacting the game is impacting your opponent! When you coach; - pay attention to what is really happening in those all important duels. Is it power, awareness, touch or something else? - Don’t get too caught up in the x’ and o’s. Do you ever ask players about their opponent? Ultimately they are the ones stopping your own game plan!! - Get players to see and accept the challenge in front of them (high challenge / high support) to build competitive and resilient players - Reflect on the experiences with the player, ask good questions that may lead to enhanced understanding and possibly change in their own play Great work Jonathan.

The top 5 players I played against as a Professional Footballer! And Harry Kane just misses out... I played against some incedible players in my 17 year career. But these are the 5 that gave me the toughest game......
