In the latest installment of the Skimmer novel series, book four delves into the emergence of two rival artificial intelligences that pose a significant challenge to the deployment of reverse-engineered UFO or UAP technology on subsurface deep-sea mining skiffs, transforming them into versatile transmedium crafts. The narrative unfolds as a hive mind created by a Chinese-owned multinational mining entity casts a shadow over the progress of self-directed mining drone missions. With the integration of extraterrestrial innovations, the outcome will determine which faction secures dominance in the extraction of vital minerals both terrestrially and extraterrestrially. On April 11, I participated in the Geoscan conference within the Innovative Lomonosov Cluster in Moscow. Over the course of six hours, key players in Russia's civil #UAV market discussed successful case studies and the lates trends in #UAS, mining, and environmental monitoring. It was a unique opportunity and I'm truly proud to be part of such an exceptional team. There were several key insights. The most significant for me: •Developing aerial phototopographic systems as a tool for measurements in geodetic and cartographic operations •An in-depth overview of the SONICS topographic data reception system

We will undertake a light detection and ranging (LiDAR) survey at our Lĺtio Niobium Project in Paraiba State in Brazil, covering 1600 hectares. The survey aims to provide high-resolution imagery and a detailed 3D topography model to help define new, priority exploration targets, following successful initial sampling that revealed high-grade niobium, tantalum, and rare earth elements. The survey is expected to be completed in the current quarter and results will be released when available. Managing Director Mena Habib said, “The LiDAR survey represents the next stage in our systematic exploration and appraisal of the Lltio Project. It provides an excellent, cost effective method to help identify and define exploration targets within the Project area. The data generated by the survey is expected to identify pegmatite trends within the Project area and allow for detailed mapping of the survey area. This work forms part of our expedited exploration plans at the Lltio Project, which are designed to deliver targets for a first-phase of drilling.” Read the full ASX Announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gw-JSHff #PNN #PowerMinerals #ASX #ASXNews #MiningNews #Niobium

Russia's #UnitedShipbuildingCorporation (#USC) has presented a design for an underwater autonomous robotic complex for developing mineral deposits in the Arctic. The design was presented at the #OMR international exhibition and conference. Speaking at the plenary session "Strategic goals and objectives for ensuring the development of hydrocarbon resources in the Arctic zone and the continental shelf of the Russian Federation using specialized vessels, equipment and technologies", Advisor to the General Director of JSC #USC Vasiliy Boytsov and General Designer of Marine Structures of the #USC's #RubinDesignBureau Yevgeniy Toropov described the "Iceberg" autonomous robotic complex project developed by the corporation. The implementation of the project will allow year-round underwater / under-ice development of mineral deposits in the waters of the frozen seas. The complex will include deep-sea geological drilling rigs capable of drilling wells with core sampling at sea depths of up to 4500 m. A prototype of the drilling rig has already been manufactured and tested. #USC also noted that a disadvantage of the existing technology for conducting #seismic exploration from a surface vessel is its significant dependence on favourable weather / #metocean conditions. The robotic complex, which will include a group of autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles (#AUV), will be capable of carrying out seismic exploration in hard-to-reach areas of the Arctic shelf at any time of the year, regardless of weather conditions.
