One week to go until London Southend Jet Centre open their doors to a full day of Networking with guest speakers, aircraft & Jet centre tours. We champion the use of London Southend Airport as part of The Collection at Weston Aviation so what better way of catching up with our partners and we love it when the doors get flung open to expand familiarity of a private terminal, in person. We are looking forward to attend and celebrate this open day. #london #airport #jetcentre #flyprivate #fbo

A great post by Dr. James Pearson and just one example of the new opportunities enabled by the introduction of the upcoming #A321XLR to the fleet of Aer Lingus! With fuel burn reductions of up to 30% per seat compared to previous generation aircraft and improved range capabilities, it will be interesting to see how this impacts revenue management strategy for airlines awaiting delivery of the A321XLR. Additionally, it raises the exciting question of which existing wide-body routes may begin utilising the upcoming Airbus Aircraft in the near future. #airbus #a321xlr #iag #aerlingus #aviation #airlines Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gz6HCUwn https://lnkd.in/gsUKJ5bT
Aer Lingus will begin flying from Dublin Airport to #Indianapolis next May on the upcoming #A321XLR. This brand-new route will obviously be underpinned by financial incentives and perhaps a revenue guarantee agreement. It will be Indianapolis' only long-haul destination since Delta Air Lines ended #Paris CDG in 2020, which existed to feed transatlantic and fellow SkyTeam member Air France. The revelation comes shortly after it announced #Nashville service, which starts in April. The Irish capital will welcome the first-ever Las Vegas flight this week, while Delta will inaugurate the first-ever #Detroit service in May. When Dublin's winter/summer US network across *all* carriers is considered, it will have non-stop flights to 22 airports. That's more than Amsterdam and Paris CDG (excluding CDG's limited charter flights to San Diego and Las Vegas). james@simpleflying.com, mejamespearson@hotmail.com #airlines #routes #aviation #europe #usa Indianapolis Airport Authority Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority

These examples highlight the successful integration of digital strategies into the aviation sector. Having a strong online presence with a user-friendly FlyXYZ.com domain name aligns with the expectations of modern travelers. #EasyAccess #OnlinePresence #DigitalIdentity #Aircharter #Airports #Airlines #FBOs #Aviation e.g. FlyOKV.com (Official) #FlyOKV #Winchested #RegionalAirport

We see the same thing happening here in Seeden. And it’s absolutely not only the airport fees but also the fees for screening passengers and baggage and overflight fees. The industry actors and states (most such actors are state owned or part of state) must do more to keep infrastructure fees down. Thanks for the post Kurt Hofmann and welcome to ”Aviation Experiment Sweden” where we have seen all to clear the system damages a negative aviation politics can cause. The perfect storm is still ahead of us. Transportföretagen Flyg
Norwegian regional carrier Widerøe believes a “fee shock” from state-owned airport operator Avinor may have consequences for its flight offerings, especially for rural communities. Avinor operates 43 state-owned airports in Norway, including smaller airfields. Why a Fly[XYZ].com domain for #AirportWebsites? Memorable: Easily recallable, these domains stick in your #passengers mind, ensuring all #customers can effortlessly find your airport's website. #Airports #RegionalAirports #CountyAirports #InternationalAirports #DigitalAirportRetailing e.g. FlyALB.com (Official) #FlyALB #Albany #InternationalAirport 'Soo much easier for all customers!'

A group of aviation enthusiasts said it was making good progress after taking charge of a council-owned airport. Swansea Airport Stakeholders Alliance began operating the the airport on a temporary basis in September after the previous operator gave up its lease. The alliance said a Spitfire flight experience company was due to start flights soon, and that talks were being held with an operator which offered wing walks for thrill-seekers. https://lnkd.in/eAx6hguC #swansea #airport

British Airline Pilots' Association (BALPA) welcomes today’s announcement about Heathrow expansion. We have needed a strong and courageous decision to sustainably invest in our aviation infrastructure for far too long - this is vital for our economic growth. This is the first step - we need more airport expansion and to maximise the use of our existing runways across the UK alongside airspace modernisation and investment in sustainable aviation fuel to ensure that our aviation industry can deliver an ambitious future.
