That's what many of us think - the constant pressure makes us question if it's worth the effort. But it's a classic urgent vs important situation - attending events can have huge strategic power. Rachel joined Worldpay (as it was then) in 2017, as part of their Refresh returners programme, following an 8-year break from the corporate world. It was at this point that she started to build on her varied experience in tax software implementation, pig breeding, school business management and motherhood. Attending events, and going on to speak at them, accelerated her rise within the organisation, through two major acquisitions, to become a significant leader within the Enterprise Data & AI group. From 2018-2020 Rachel chaired the Women of Worldpay network and was delighted to be a WeAreTheCity TechWomen100 winner in 2018. In 2024 she qualified as a coach and continues to passionately pursue her aim to improve the diversity of city workplaces; championing and mentoring women and men across the business and being a voice for change. As ever, we'll take any questions from you during the session also. So join us for this free, practical LinkedIn Live and go away with tips, tricks and actions you can take to achieve your goals!
