🌟 Promoting Inclusive Leadership: One Leader, Two Genders 🌟 As an award-winning leader in corporate, feminist, and LGBTQ+ spaces, I’m excited to expand my work through my latest campaign, One Leader, Two Genders: A Vision for Inclusive Leadership. This campaign builds on my experiences as a business executive, gender diversity advocate, and consultant, focusing on creating inclusive, thriving cultures. I’m also seeking literary representation for two transformative projects: 1️⃣ Acceptance without Understanding™ – My debut book, focused on fostering acceptance through powerful storytelling, with the audacious goal of teaching 1 billion people about acceptance by 2050. 2️⃣ The Things I Wish Mothers Taught Their Sons About Women – My second book, currently in manuscript, explores lessons on understanding and supporting women drawn from my experiences and global work in gender diversity. 📢 Organisations looking to create more inclusive cultures: I offer bespoke workshops based on the key insights from both books. If you're interested in bringing these lessons to your teams, let’s connect! Whether you’re a literary agent, a business leader, or someone looking to drive change through inclusion, I would love to collaborate. #InclusiveLeadership #AcceptanceWithoutUnderstanding #OneLeaderTwoGenders #GenderDiversity #Inclusion #Leadership #LiteraryAgent #AcceptanceForAll2050

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Please join us next week on July 24, 2024, at 12pm EST/9am PST for our first monthly LGBTQ+ leadership roundtable. The Queer Leaders Lens will help you attend to your personal growth, transform your communities and families, and accelerate your career using Queer Leadership Principles. You may be thinking: I am not a leader, so will this apply to me? Everyone is a leader. The question is: are you an effective leader or a de-motivating leader? Are you a positive leader or a negative leader? The roundtables will use my book - “The Souls of Queer Folk: How Understanding LGBTQ+ Cultural Values Can Transform Your Leadership Practice” as a theoretical underpinning. However, the series will have a much broader focus and a much broader application than your”9 to 5.” Leadership isn’t just a business orientation. It is a way of LIFE. This community is for ALL members of our community, particularly those who are underrepresented in mainstream LGBTQ+ circles. We welcome our cis-hetero allies and will cultivate safe space for everyone. Please find the link in the comments to register. We are limiting size to 50 people so please sign up while space is still left! In gratitude…. #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #lgbtq #lgbtq #coaching #growthmindset #queer

📚 Book Recommendation Alert 📚 Forging Queer Leaders: How the LGBTQIA+ Community Creates Impact from Adversity by Bree Fram and Dr. Liz Caravallo. I had the opportunity to preview the book thanks to the incredible Authoress Community, and I was impressed with a fresh take on the leadership development for queer leaders genre! The book focuses on the stories of LGBTQIA+ leaders while still digging into the history of queer leadership, adult development, and some of the easiest-to-understand examples of "self-authoring" that I've read! Here's my ringing endorsement! If you're interested: Use queerleaders20 for 20% off at https://lnkd.in/gFDD7SCk #lgbtq #leadership

🌈 Leading with Complexity: The Importance of Intersectionality in Coaching and Leadership 🌈 In today's installment of our Pride Month exploration, we turn our focus to a vital but often overlooked concept in leadership and coaching: intersectionality within the LGBTQ+ community. As leaders and coaches, our approach must reflect an understanding that each individual’s identity layers profoundly impact their experiences and challenges. Intersectionality teaches us that experiences are not universal—even within the same community. For example, the professional journey of a Latino bisexual man can be vastly different from that of an Asian lesbian. As a coach, recognizing and appreciating these unique paths is essential for truly supportive and effective leadership. Try This: In your next coaching session or team meeting, invite open dialogue about different identity experiences. This can help illuminate the unique challenges faced by each team member or client, fostering a deeper understanding and connection. 🌟 Tip: Develop personalized coaching strategies that acknowledge and leverage the diverse backgrounds and identities of those you lead. Tailor your support to fit the complex realities of each individual's life. As we navigate this Pride Month, let’s commit to enriching our leadership and coaching practices by embracing the full spectrum of identities. How are you ensuring that your leadership or coaching practices accommodate the complexities of intersectionality? I’m eager to hear your insights and strategies! Let’s learn from each other and together enhance our impact. #PrideMonth #Intersectionality #LeadershipDevelopment #Coaching #DiversityAndInclusion #LGBTQSupport #AuthenticLeadership
