Learn. Connect. Grow. Issue 31.
🏳️🌈 Intersectional Resources for creating Queer Inclusive Work Spaces. 🏳️⚧️
Welcome back to another issue of “Learn. Connect. Grow.”
I’m thrilled to announce that we have just opened nominations for the WCS Awards 2025 - and this year we’re going global! Make sure to submit your nominations before 30th March.
In this issue we’re celebrating International Women’s Day with two features - one from Neil Hudson-Basing on how men can #AccelerateAction for gender equality, and another spotlighting the story of Cindy Nasenya, a Queer African content creator and 2024 WCS Emerging Leader Award winner.
We’ve got a packed month of events ahead, from Community Building 101 sessions and Global Speed Networking to a new UNLOCK Masterclass, so make sure to register and come along.
Keep scrolling for plenty of additional educational resources on misogyny, gender equality and Queer Leadership!
P.S. Time are tough, and we know that across the board DEI professionals are facing increased pressure, scrutiny and instability. Our Managing Director Jon-Paul Vicari (He/Him) is still offering free consultations for any of you who need advice, to talk strategy or could just do with a professional listening ear.
Have a wonderful week,
Michael Stephens (he/they)

WCS FEATURE:
My Queer Leader Journey, with Cindy Nasenya.
2024 WCS Award Winner Cindy Nasenya shares her Queer Leadership Journey.
"The visibility from WCS has opened doors for future opportunities for sure. But with that also comes a deeper sense of responsibility; to not just participate in spaces but to help shape them in meaningful ways." - Cindy Nasenya
WCS FEATURE:
How men can #AccelerateAction beyond IWD.
Neil Hudson-Basing calls on men to do their bit for gender equality.
“Men tend to seem baffled, particularly as to why I’d know so much about the menopause, or tend to disengage. This is also validated based on the reactions on my social media related to this topic. The absence of the male voice, consciously & unconsciously, when it comes to gender equality is not only infuriating - its prolonging inaction & change.” - Neil Hudson-Basing
