Family is an important aspect of a person's life, and they play a major role in the growth and development of an individual which in turn impacts the nation. The unit of a society is the family; No family, no society. May 15 is known as the international day of families to celebrate them for their role and contribution to the lives of people, including the challenges they face. Today also marks the 30th year anniversary of the celebration. Inspiring Future Leaders to Tackle Climate Change The Wildlife and Nature Protection Society (WNPS) partnered with the Sri Lanka Scout Movement at the 59th Scout Annual Camporee to empower young minds with knowledge on climate change. Scouts from across the nation learned about its impacts, mitigation strategies, and how they can lead the way toward a sustainable future.
