Instead of golf, pickleball might soon be the sport to play if you're trying to network in corporate America 🏓 Bloomberg recently highlighted a fascinating trend: companies are turning to pickleball for networking and deal-making. Why? It’s cheaper, less time-consuming, and easier to play—but to me, the real standout is pickleball's inclusivity. Golf, for all its history, has often felt like a boys’ club—mostly men, often older, and not the most diverse crowd. Pickleball, on the other hand, welcomes people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. If you've ever played, you'll know that pickleball is extremely diverse: women, people of color, young professionals, and seasoned players all playing on the same courts together. It’s inclusive, approachable, and just plain fun—whether you’re making new friends or closing a deal. It’s this sense of community and accessibility that makes pickleball such a powerful tool for fostering relationships, both personally and professionally.
