This Week Just Got a Whole Lot Hotter with "Anonymous & Unfiltered" 🔥 At Talent Crunch, we are about community. And this week, we’re dropping some exciting stuff. 💥 Introducing Anonymous & Unfiltered: Speak Your Mind, your new safe space to share, vent, and connect. This was inspired by Mariana Lima during a conversation at TechRec 2024 🙏! What’s up? 🧐 1. It’s simple. This is your chance to share anything on your mind. Questions, feedback, concerns, or just something you’ve been itching to say. 2. It’s completely anonymous (unless you want a shoutout). 3. No judgement, just support. 4. It's a Slack Channel with a simple link - submit your thoughts, whatever they are. We’ll moderate and, with your permission, share your thoughts with the community to spark conversations and connections. Think of it as your virtual open mic, where you can speak up, vent, or just drop a thought. 👉 Ready to spill the tea? https://lnkd.in/eCm6C9fq Why does this matter 😍? -- Because the best communities are built on openness, trust, and a little bit of courage. This is your space to be heard, and we can’t wait to see what you share 💛 #communityfirst #safespace #feedbackmatters #talentcrunchberlin #hotdropweek 👉 Ready to spill the tea? https://lnkd.in/eCm6C9fq

We're building the world's largest multistakeholder, multidisciplinary network in Responsible Tech at All Tech Is Human! Check out this inspiring community that is united around a mission to tackle thorny tech & society issues and co-create a tech future aligned with the public interest. When I started All Tech Is Human in 2018, there was a pressing need for an organization to be a connective tissue for the hundreds of orgs and thousands of individuals working toward a better tech future. Together, we are stronger. Today we have over 550 people in our working groups, 9k people across 90 countries in our Slack, 400 people in our current mentorship program (over 1k people have gone through), a weekly livestream series, and have held dozens of in-person gatherings that have brought together thousands of people (23 gatherings last year). If you are looking to get involved with the Responsible Tech movement, we have a place for you. Hard problems require collective understanding and action, which is why we have a wide range of activities (both in-person and virtual) that bring together thousands of people across the globe to understand values, tensions, trade-offs, and best practices. Together, we work to solve tech and society’s thorniest issues. Join in! #AllTechIsHuman #ResponsibleTech

One week on from #TrustCon and I’m still feeling so energised by this community (notwithstanding a small bout of airplane-flu!). My takeaways: 😎 On the vibe: it’s amazing to see the T&S community continue to live its values as it grows, with TrustCon platforming people from highly diverse backgrounds and roles. The “I’m an introvert” badges reminded me of our culture at Unitary, where we use a custom emoji (a sloth riding a rocket) to remind us to maintain a balance of the rapid growth startup mindset and the more considered approach of our more academic origins. 📖 Misinformation: in a year of elections, I heard less on misinformation than I expected. Does this reflect a feeling within the community that this problem is much bigger than trust and safety? I’m reminded of Alice Goguen Hunsberger's excellent article on the topic [https://lnkd.in/emiCsXvS] and I’d love to hear thoughts from my network! 👩💻 On AI and tooling: compared to other conferences I've been to lately, this felt vendor-light. It seems like T&S is on the cusp of a step-change in tech, but it’s not clear yet what this will look like. It feels like the community is empowered to hold vendors like us to account on delivering real impact and delivering real value I'm excited to see what next year will bring!

Tl/dl: If you are thinking about it, build it and iterate on it and they will come. Problem Statement: I loved my NY Tech Week Experience and wish every week was NY Tech Week. Brainstorming / Ideation: What can I do to effectively use my newfound downtime to meet cool people, stay up to date on innovative trends, learn new things and put my learnings into practice. Also wouldn't hurt to get recruiters reach out to me either. Solution: Coming soon, a new and innovative spin on using your downtime to do some good, make good connections, learn new things and put those new things to use. Timeline: * Brainstorming / Iteration: June 12 - 13 * Market Fit Assessment/Refinement: June 14 * MVP Build Out: June 17 - 19 * Some Sort of Announcement: June 19 - 21 #NYTechWeek #Innovation #Networking #Learning #GrowthMindset #TheDayTimeCrew #Funemployed
