Facebook saw this first! Nurses rewards are in heaven! This is the motivation we often get from employees and patients after sacrificing all to the service of humanity ' as they say' just for a very low pay. No wonder the JAPA SYNDROME has peaked in Nigeria One of the 14 principles of management by Henri Fayol is renumeration. Nurses rewards should be competitive salaries, pay for overtime and pay for hazard in high risk environment like the the rehabilitation centers, quarantine center e.t.c.. I personally experienced this. A lot of nurses who had just become registered are elated to enter the labor market often get disappointed due to low pay for long shifts, these nurses are left with no option but to take such offers. Few organizations might incorporate right motivation habits but I tell you there are still a lot who do not. So, rather motivating with mere words why not incorporate these Give bonuses based on performances , for meeting target, for joining an organization 'duration of time such employee has started working with the organization' Increase pay i.e salary Give scholarship to employee who wishes to continue their studies Training opportunities Public acknowledgement Awards 'best nurse of the year' Wellness program Health care benefits Flexible work schedules e.t.c. Emotional support Dear patients, clients, employers ☺️ You can make nurses experience heaven on earth #Nursing #renovation #betterhealth Precious Temitope

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧? 🩺 I’ve been thinking a lot about the struggles we’re seeing in our healthcare system, particularly in finding and keeping the right nurses. It’s a tough situation for hospitals all over South Africa right now.🏥 On one hand, we’ve got an untapped pool of unemployed, qualified nurses ready to work. On the other hand, we’ve got hospitals desperately trying to fill vacancies but finding that perfect match isn’t as easy as it sounds. It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It can be frustrating if you don't have the right recruitment support. The truth is, our hospitals are stretched thin, and the need for skilled, passionate nurses is growing every day. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐚𝐩? 🤔 I believe the answer is in supporting both the nurses and the hospitals with the right tools, the right opportunities, and the right connections. It’s about creating pathways that work for everyone, where nurses are equipped to succeed and hospitals get the support they need to thrive. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐭? 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞?🔑 I’d love to hear your thoughts and explore ways we can work together to make this process a little easier. 💬 #HealthcareSupport #NurseRecruitment #SouthAfricanHealthcare #TalentRetention #NursesMatter #Healthcarerecruitment

What does it mean for a country to be red listed or to be on the red list? Zambia is one of the countries on this list. Now being on a red list for recruitment typically means that a country is subject to restrictions or prohibitions on the recruitment of its healthcare workers by foreign countries. This is often due to a recognition that the country in question is experiencing a shortage of healthcare professionals, and further depletion through international recruitment could exacerbate this problem. Kindly find Links to AGENCIES in the UK recruiting on behalf of the NHS with possible Visa Sponsorship. Most of them are not ACTIVELY recruiting from REDLISTED Countries like Zambia, HOWEVER are recruiting individuals from REDLISTED Countries residing in other countries with VALID RESIDENCIAL PERMITS. One of the great paradoxes in African healthcare is the ability to train qualified nurses who are desperately needed to staff hospitals and clinics, but then African countries cannot afford to pay them decent wages or provide good working conditions and equipment. Consequently, a decades-long migration of Africa-trained nurses continues to Europe, Asia and the Middle East, where salaries can support nurses' families back home. Nigeria's government is trying to end the migration by shaming nurses. One minister this week criticised nurses for "indulging" in big pay overseas, and said, "No sacrifice can be too much to render in our service to the nation." However, no mention was made about expanding Nigeria's health spending on staff or facilities. #AfricanHealthcare #NurseMigration #NurseShortage #AfricanNurses #ConnectingAfricasPotential

Student Nurses, one step at a time! You're in your 200 level and already looking for where to work? 🤔 You've just started PTS and you're already teaching and lecturing us and telling us you're a Nurse? Ah, who made you a Nurse without your certificate and license to practice? 🤔 You're in your 200 level and already asking different people about fees for Post basic nursing specialties and doing "timbo timbo"? What if you Japa and don't do the specialty again? What if you're not financially bouyant to do that yourself? We're not saying don't make plans but one step at a time, some of the things you're worrying yourself about is totally not necessary, by the time you'll be done with school, the amount to do the Specialty most have been × 2 or even more! What you should be worried and focused about is getting that licence, that's your number 1 goal, nothing else is really your business...while at it, pray for OPPORTUNITIES and connections that'll change your life. When you ask too many questions from too many people, you'll just get confused unnecessarily. Get the licence, everything will fall in place once you know what you're doing. Don't be limited to just I want to go to Lagos after school because everyone is going there, what if God says it's Abuja or Rivers State 🤷🏾♀️ Pray and ask God which State to practice, what step in this career should I take next, there's always that small still voice that doesn't mislead! I knew I had wanted to do A&E, I didn't bother asking TOO MANY people what I wanted for myself, I didn't choose it because of anyone, it was already planned from taking those small steps in my school hospital postings and other Clinical postings. The power of choice is very powerful, I pray and hope you'll choose well in your career and life generally. Pray!!! 🤲🏾 I wish you all the best. ☺️ #NurseAdeola #A&EPostBasic

New month….New energy 🥳🥳🥳 Here to share about my lovely profession that is Nursing🤗 As a recent BSN RN in Uganda 🇺🇬 There are so many misconceptions that people are talking to me about such as: - Nursing is a low paying job. Especially in Uganda, people believe that nurising is a low paying and could be attributed to the different levels of nurses. -Nurses are only females. Personally I studied in a class with two male colleagues that made it and love their career path so clearly NOT TRUE at all at all. -Nurses are sex symbols. Story time: One day, some male being called me and we were having a normal conversation until I mentioned I am a nurse….the conversation just drifted to a sexual one. Please we are just normal professionals trying to have a strong career path. -Nurses only follow doctors orders. This could be partially true….we are mostly guided by the doctors although when a decision has to be made to save a patients life, You do the necessary. -Nurses can’t diagnosis nor prescribe medication. Starting from Bachelor Nursing level this is very okay to do because we have sufficient knowledge to do so…Not forgetting health care requires team work so its not bad to consult a doctor or discuss with colleagues. The list is very long and these are only a few I know for sure are a misconception. Hopefully this was helpful… #createawareness #nursesoLinkedIn
