check out this free handout I did for a Revit Lab session back in 2017 > https://lnkd.in/gxstdf-9 after 7 years how much of it is out of date, and how much is still valid?
#Revit #tip I’ve been working as an application engineer for Revit add-ins for several years. I thought using Revit every day would make me a pro in everything it offers, at least in my #structural field. But that’s not the case. I didn’t learn things I didn’t need every day. Now, after almost 2 years back to drafting, I still enjoy discovering new #findings. One of them is Temporary View Properties, which I started using only in my last project. I use it to quickly switch to see linked architectural and structural Revit models. Do you use it? How?

🚧 Staying Ahead in the Civil Engineering Industry with Cutting-Edge Visualization Tools! 🚧 In the ever-evolving world of civil engineering, keeping up with the latest visualization software is essential. Lumion is one of the leading tools for creating stunning 3D renderings and animations, and I recently upgraded from Lumion 8.0 to Lumion 12.5—and I’m impressed by the new features and improvements! 🔑 Key Features of Lumion 12.5: - Real-time LiveSync with SketchUp, Revit, and more - Sleeker and more intuitive user interface - Enhanced render quality for photorealistic visuals - Advanced lighting & shadows for added realism - Animated Phasing to showcase the construction process - Improved materials and textures for detailed surfaces I revisited one of my old SketchUp models and re-rendered it in Lumion 12.5, and the results exceeded my expectations! 🎉 If you’re curious to see the transformation or try it out for yourself, feel free to check the model here: 🔗 [SketchUp Warehouse Link](https://lnkd.in/ge4fNSAN) #CivilEngineering #3DRendering #Lumion #Visualization #Architecture #SketchUp
