Recommending this book to those interested in higher education governance and in anchoring your knowledge in an understanding of the concepts underpinning higher education governance - Governance of Higher Education - Global Perspectives, Theories and Practices (2nd edition) by Ian Austin, Ph.D. and Glen Jones. It's a great update to what was already a very useful text.

MSU Professor Lynn Paine co-edited “The World Yearbook of Education 2025,” published by Routledge. The volume, “The Teaching Profession in a Globalizing World: Governance, Career, Learning,” focuses on the teacher policies and governance of the teaching perspective within contemporary contexts of societal changes and globalization. It is the first volume in the series dedicated to an “overview of globalized teacher policies and their implications for the status of the teaching profession across the world,” according to Routledge’s website.
