Nine of the ten nuclear reactors that currently produce Mo-99 globally are expected to cease operations by 2030. Many companies and governments are searching for alternative methods of producing Technetium-99m, which do not involve the fission of uranium. Our initial focus is on producing Molybdenum-100, with the intention of competing against Molybdenum-99. The latter is currently utilized in generating Technetium-99m, the most commonly used imaging radionuclide. The supply chain is highly complex and plagued by regular supply interruptions, which, in turn, is associated with serious implications for both hospitals and patients. The Global Mo-99 market is estimated to be over $3bn. #NASDAQ: $ASPI #nuclear #energy #greenenergy #technology #isotopes

Best invest in Building and talking about Fusion power, space, and maritime propulsion systems and industry as data centres are. You talk about Nuclear (meaning Fission) and fail to discuss fusion. https://lnkd.in/ge_aeX7M The nuclear fission industry is, ignorant of what's happening around you. Pull your uranium heads out, start adjusting your industry to fusion energy and start preparing to enter the commercially growing fusion energy industry. As it dawns on Earth like the sun. Great Headline Guardian on Nuclear fission. https://lnkd.in/g8sMZtpR Fission is moving towards obsolescence at an accelerated pace, as it is "out of step, out of time, out of place," and merely a temporary industry globally. https://lnkd.in/gbd_mZqk By 2028, Helion is expected to start producing electricity from its first fusion commercial power plant, which will provide electricity to Microsoft. The plant will produce at least 50 MWe after an initial ramp-up period. https://lnkd.in/gY9J3MQY Now see what is happening in the Fusion industry in the world. https://lnkd.in/g9hMBD7a As fission trebles, fuel shortage is increasingly real,
This morning, I had the chance to address the "Managing Sustainability" graduate class at Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management in New York. Our discussions centered around nuclear energy and its impact on Africa's sustainable development goals. Despite the virtual format at 1:00 AM my time, I appreciated the engaging session and want to express gratitude to Mark Coleman for his continual support. #nuclear #sustainability #netzero

[#IndustrySpotlight] As we explore the future of clean energy, countries like the US are investing billions of dollars into #nuclear. Will this investment pay off? There are some challenges; however, there are some initiatives to drive this technology even further such as reducing certain licensing fees and cutting down on review times ... with ways to do this safely. Historically, nuclear power plants and equipment have used sealing solutions to protect against high temperature / high pressure and ensure leakage control. These solutions are being engineered to go beyond for future clean energy as well. Watch our new #video that shares where and how metal seals and polymer solutions protect these critical systems. https://lnkd.in/gGdn-M48 #NuclearFission #CleanEnergy #PowerPlant #MetalSeals #Polymers #Engineering #ResilientSeals

GREAT! -- so get a dozen units on order to build the value chain. What is the holdup? Or waste another two years en route to 24 GWs by 2050. The units can be built like aircraft. LWR technology is well established. Seriously, what are the real reasons for delay while the older reactors (8 GW) close down? Delay need not be Budget... UK HMG can MAKE money over time financing 60 year assets when priced right. Provide "Govt Preferred Equity" investment funds now -- return of funds over time. Investment in revenue producing assets -- this is not welfare spending. Real reason? Narrow-minded, unimaginative thinking (all parties), stuck in a 2-year time horizon. Once operating, nuclear assets bring net money into Treasury! Not "net zero", net cash!
