How can I discuss the importance of strong, consistent marketing activity to my clients if I’m not doing the same? Secondly, let’s consider the client’s decision-making journey. We know the effects of marketing are not immediate or short-lived. So, by continuing to invest in marketing, when prospective clients feel they would benefit from working with an outsourced marketing director, I’ll be top of mind and on their consideration list. As with all marketing, I understand that waiting until I have a significant amount of capacity to work with clients might pose a problem. Last November, I worked with Elisa Pardini and Robert Hall of Pardini Hall Architecture —based in Lucca, Italy, and London, UK—to create a marketing strategy tailored to their unique goals.
