Friday is when positions are posted the most, but also the day nobody is applying even though this is the best time. Hiring managers procrastinate just like you and there is no other time product manager roles are posted on LinkedIn more than late Friday afternoon and a little bit on Saturday mornings. I do this every week and yet people still complain nobody is hiring. Are you noticing the pattern it’s the same types of companies that are hiring product managers over and over again that are looking for the same types of experience. How do you create a IT portfolio that you can present to a hiring manager?

This post isn’t about just #hiring but about the thought behind my designation. A few months ago, I had the unexpected opportunity to meet the Founder Geet Kumar at Twitchy Thought Creations (a story for another time!). Our conversation covered everything from business and marketing to social media and startups. It was clear that our visions aligned, and we decided to work together. Oh, and we’re both passionate bike riders! When I was offered the role, the next challenge was finding a designation that truly reflected my responsibilities. I wasn’t too concerned about the title, but she wanted it to be meaningful. That’s when my role was created: Assistant - Business Growth & Marketing. Here's what it represents: Assistant (Soul): With the experience and inspiration she brings, I assist her and constantly learn something new every day. Business Growth (Brain): To focus on long-term vision and strategic growth for the company. Marketing (Heart): My true passion, driving creativity and connection in everything I do. What I’ve come to realize is that (the boss is always right) she was right from the start. This title isn’t just a role—it’s a tag that fuels my motivation. Every day, it pushes me to wake up, embrace the surprises, and celebrate new achievements. Each day at Twitchy Thought Creations is an exciting journey of growth and discovery. With great power comes great responsibility, and I’m honored to carry it. It’s a huge responsibility, but also a privilege—one I take on with pride.
