Pistoia Alliance reposted this
This week we kicked off the Pistoia Alliance US Life Science Informatics Forum series in Boston. More than 25 people from across the Life Science community came together to openly discuss the theme of 'value creation in pharma', how pharma recognizes and prioritizes the value of projects and initiatives. Our speakers gave a variety of perspectives and examples, all of which led to great discussions amongst the attendees. Thanks to Mike Stapleton, Stephen Wing, Jake Janey, and Mark Borowsky for sharing your insights. It was truly valuable. The purpose of these meetings is to bring together a small group of people to share their thoughts on a business-critical topic in Life Science, and ideally from that, see if there is an opportunity to address the topic through a pre-competitive collaborative lens. By keeping the meetings small, we foster a tremendous amount of interaction. The event was held at EPAM Systems' Continuum site in Seaport, and a special thanks to Ted Slater for the amazing and gracious hosting. These events would not be possible without the support of our global Informatics Forum sponsors, ZS and Zifo. Thank you so much and we were very happy to have you attend and participate in the discussion! We are already in the process of getting our next forum together. If you would like information on an upcoming event, or you have thoughts on topics of interest, please feel free to reach out to me or one of my Pistoia Alliance colleagues!
