#IWD may have officially come and gone, but the conversation around empowering women never stops! 💪 Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting Modo at our Vancouver PayByPhone office for an inspiring discussion about women in mobility and tech. Two organizations from the same city, tackling similar challenges, coming together to share insights - not just about mobility, but also about careers in tech, #leadership, and #empowerment. Our speakers shared invaluable perspectives on their journeys, offering advice on how we can support and uplift girls and young women from an early age, helping them recognize their choices, build confidence, and stay true to their values. We also explored the role of networks, #mentorship, and how leaders can actively champion the women on their teams, whether through honest feedback, support, or, for male allies, by seeking mentorship and training when leading predominantly female teams. It was a lighthearted yet powerful conversation, filled with actionable takeaways. A big thank you to everyone who joined us. We hope you left feeling as inspired as we did! 💚 A HUGE thank you to our speakers: Sandra Phillips 🇺🇦 Yulz Havron Shilpi M.Ashley Nguyen Erin Sullivan, MBA, to the organizing team Kristina Svab. BA, CCP, CBP Lettie Costea and Modo for the great partnership. #WomenInMobility #WomenInTech
