Do you focus on one thing without any nuance? There is hardly any black and white in the car wash world. Everything has a gray area. Lately, car wash has been all about traffic counts and almost nothing else. But you could probably make a list of other things that matter at your car wash and car counts probably isn't on your list once you get a site. But when it comes to site selection it seems to be the only thing people want to talk about. I admit that traffic counts are a dumb-dumb way to quickly evaluate an area. But there is way more to washing cars than traffic counts. Some car washers focus on the equipment above all else. Some focus on the cleanliness of the vehicle (how clean, dry, and shiny is it), and some focus on the customer experience. If you focus on anything to the detriment of others, you will fail. What is your top focus? And what should you be focusing more on?
