The only talk I heard at SaaStock this year was by Kyle Poyar and Andrew Davies! If these names aren't on your radar, you're missing out on gold for your company. Key takeaways that resonated with me as someone in GTM: ♠️ MVP Doesn't work anymore - Traditional wisdom "If are not ashamed of your first MVP, You've shipped it too late". Building software is getting all the more easier. You need a solid market to go to market. 🔺 The Marketing Trinity - The future of marketing hinges on three pillars: Brand, Storytelling, and Automation. 🙂↕️ First Marketing hires need to be "Generalists" over "Specialists" - Your first marketing hires should be versatile generalists. You need people who can experiment with GTM, learn quickly, juggle multiple tasks, and move at lightning speed. 🏢 Building an audience is going to be key. Especially if you're launching a B2B SaaS product. Distribution will be the key differentiator. 🚥 It is becoming increasingly difficult to be in Horizontal B2B SaaS but can be rewarding. Although - your GTM needs to be vertical. Slice and dice your lists and be focussed. Bottom line: If you're not following Kyle Poyar and Andrew Davies, you're leaving money on the table.
