(Africa - Toto) I hear the ATS echoing tonight, Hearing whispers of sad job appliers, (do do do, do do do dooooooo) I stopped my unemployed colleague along the way, Hopin' to find some wisdom or ancient tricks (do do do, do do do dooooooo), He turned to me as if to say, "Hurry, boy, the HM is waiting in the Zoom for you!" (do doo!!) It's gonna take a lot to discourage me away from the hunt, There's nothin' that a hundred recruiters or more could ever do, I bless the unemployed down in every continent! I BLESS THE RAINS DOWN IN AFRICA! Gonna take some time to think of what else I should do (do do do, do do do dooooooo) I'm feeling really good today, #jobseekers. How has the week been? #highs #lows #unemployed #searchingforwork #wanttowork #hireme #activetalent #recruiters #ATS #customersuccess #customerexperience #businessoperations #letsgethired PS: If you have any requests, let me know. Some songs are quite challenging to remix and it's not worth it to half-rear-end the song if it's not almost perfect.

🪙Penny for your thoughts? 💭 Ever felt like opportunities just don’t quite reach us here in Africa? I see so many promising job postings, but most aren’t accessible without relocation—and few companies are covering that. And when we turn to local opportunities, it’s no secret that pay often doesn’t match the hard work or even the cost of living. Survival becomes the focus, not growth. So, who wouldn’t jump at a fair opportunity if it came along? I’m hopeful companies will start recognizing the talent here and make hiring more inclusive, whether through remote roles or relocation packages. There’s a huge drive for growth and contribution among professionals in Africa. We’re ready to bring that energy and commitment; it just feels like we’re waiting for the right doors to open. No shade to local companies—many are doing their best within tough economies. But there’s so much potential for improvement, especially around fair pay and career growth. Why should we have to compromise when we’re just as eager to make an impact? So, what do you think? Let’s rub minds together—drop a comment to share yours. 👇 #africatalents #techopportunities #africaprofessionals #africa #techindustry #opportunitiesforafrica #happynewmonth

With the continent facing soaring poverty rates and a population set to double in 30 years, traditional job creation methods are falling short. But what if the solution lies not in conventional employment but in embracing a technology-enabled portfolio of work? 📲💼 Jobtech platforms like Tammwe and Tendo are reshaping the way Africans earn a living, turning underemployment into opportunity. This isn't just about jobs; it's about redefining work for a new era. Jobtech Alliance is also taking charge of transforming the workforce across the continent. Do you think this is the route to take? We would love to hear your thoughts :). #gigwork #remotework #africanfreelancers #techjobs https://lnkd.in/dnHhtUc9

Employment: Why Are Ghost Jobs On The Rise?🤔 40% are fake even? And 30% of job postings are not real? Why? I wonder what the percentage is in South Africa? In fact how many jobs post on LinkedIn, if any are "ghost jobs"? What twisted sadistic employment trend is this? #employment #ghostjobs

👇 One of my colleague recruiters in the Netherlands wrote this the other day: When the markets are good… And there’s plenty of demand for jobs… Also jobs like yours… Your business can do well just by existing… Candidates fall from the sky, and you make hires almost without trying… 🌤 Selling jobs in markets where there's lots of demand for jobs is easy! You don’t even need to sell, candidates just apply… You don’t need to win new candidates, the candidates you have already, give you enough options… WAIT, WHAT⁉ This does not apply for hard-to-fill senior profiles in Africa! 🌍 You will need to approach things very differently… 💬 Want to explore effective solutions? Send us a message at contact@jobnetafrica.com to hop on a call and let’s discuss how we can help you navigate the unique talent landscape in Africa! ☀ #ExecutiveSearch #JobnetAfrica #AfricaJobs #JobsInAfrica #ExecutiveSearchFirm #RecruitmentFirm #RecruitmentAgency #Africa #BusinessInAfrica #ExecutiveRecruiter #Opportunities #VacanciesInAfrica #OpportunitiesInAfrica

"We’ve been fortunate in recent months to have advertised several job openings at Crickmay. Personally, reviewing every CV submitted has been a humbling and inspiring process at the same time. It’s clear that some are submitted out of desperation, others out of naivety, but there are some that make me think “How do I employ all of them?". I’ve been left with an overwhelming sense, that South Africa has great potential. Its potential is not found in politics, mineral resources, a 4th industrial revolution, or great systems even though AI may be the buzzword at the moment - our potential lies in the ability of our people, their resilience, and their background. I look at our team and believe we are blessed to have each one of them. As we continue to grow, I’m excited to unlock this potential regardless of whether the person managed to attend college on the back of their mother’s domestic work wages, or they attended a prestigious private school. At the end of the day, for me at least, it is all about heart and I think there is bucket loads of that in us mere South Africans. Each time we employ someone, or help another business improve and grow so they can employ others, means that we are chipping away at our seemingly insurmountable unemployment. So here is to people potential, heart, South Africanness and making a difference with data.” - Musings from our Managing Director, Jayce Lane. #CrickmayandAssociates #MakingaDifferencewithData #SouthAfrica #Musings #InformationAge #ArtificialIntelligence #Employment #TechnologicalAdvancements #ArtificialIntelligence #Potential #People #Heart #SouthAfricanness #Africa
