To highlight the essential role of family physicians, we asked Ontarians to tell us how their family doctor has gone above and beyond for them. In response, we received over 750 heartwarming submissions from across the province. At an event earlier this week, our President, Jobin V., President-Elect, Eric Wong, MD MClSc (FM) CCFP FCFP CFD COI CPP and CEO Deepy Sur, MSW, PhD, RSW joined the Central West Ontario Health Team and William Osler Health System Department of Family and Community Medicine to present certificates of recognition to 23 local family physicians nominated by their patients for outstanding care. Thank you to the CWOHT and William Osler DFCM for inviting the OCFP to recognize family physicians, and Hon. Charmaine Williams and MPP Deepak Anand for joining us to recognize family physicians.
