We are proud to share our work on #monitoring the #landslide at Riomaggiore along Via dell'Amore in Cinque Terre, Regione Liguria. In October 2024, we installed an #interferometric radar and a high-resolution #photomonitoring system to continuously track the movements of the rock slope. This advanced radar keeps a constant watch over key #reflectors, exposed rock faces, and the protective net barriers—regardless of whether it’s day or night, rain or shine. During daylight hours, our system captures high-resolution images every five minutes, enabling us to detect even the slightest changes in the landscape. While our #team monitors the data in real time, the onsite #rock specialists are hard at work restoring the protective net system displaced by the landslide. This integrated approach not only enhances safety but also supports the ongoing efforts to #stabilize the site and preserve the integrity of this iconic coastal area.
