We're proud to be associated with SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences in shaping the sustainable recycling industry! ♻️ Founded just 2 years ago, we at ABCircular GmbH embarked on this journey with a fervent ambition to set new benchmarks. Our commitment to a greener future is exemplified by projects like ReGCell, recently presented at Woche der Umwelt hosted by Federal president of Germany and DBU Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt. ReGCell brings together #industry expertise with the bright minds of SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences students, focusing on a #green_chemistry approach for #recycling #photovoltaic modules. This collaboration fosters the next generation of leaders in recycling #technology and the #circular_economy, through initiatives like #research, #training, and #workshops. We're developing a plan to build a #recycling_plant here in the Berlin-Brandenburg region to implement our new recycling technology. We recently submitted a funding application with Kiran Gulia from the University of Wolverhampton and Dr. Brian Johnston from iBiotech LTD who are experts in #additive_manufacturing. Together, we'll use the funding to develop a new #3D_printing method to create #flexible_solar modules from the raw materials we recover. This will bring us closer to a #closed_loop_system. We strongly believe that a #circular_economy, built on close industry-academia collaboration, is the key to a sustainable future. https://lnkd.in/e52BnUv7
