How is Wiltshire doing in it’s transition to small-scale renewables? Wiltshire has recorded 26,313 MCS-certified installations, meaning 12.23% of households in the area, more than 1 in 10, have an MCS certified installation. 4,206 of these installations were completed between February 2024 and 2025, a 19% increase from the previous year. MCS installations and contractor data is freely available for everyone to view and use on the MCS Data Dashboard now. Updating in near-real-time, it provides a dynamic picture of the uptake of solar, heat pumps, battery storage, and other small-scale renewables across the UK.
