I have problems with the Aloft Savannah hotel (georgia), I stayed 2 weeks for a business trip, the reservation was paid with the credit card of the company I work for, the day of check in they asked me for my personal card for a deposit for possible damages... nothing happened and they charged me the taxes for the stay. I have called the hotel more than 3 times and they still have not solved the problem. Lousy service, I do not recommend them. Marriott Bonvoy

So to cut a long story short, I had 49 qualifying nights last year. I am platinum lifetime elite and I stayed an additional night to get to 50 just to get the choice award benefit for the year. My confirmation said that you needed two nights for each qualifying night. So I booked a second night, but they were not consecutive but nowhere in the confirmation or anywhere else was it made clear that both nights needed to be consecutive. I protested this andthis is my message and the response I got was basically FU this is the worst customer experience I think I have ever experienced. I spent $500 on two nights as a mileage Here is the response - do not think that in the spirit of customer appreciation that they could have made an exception? “I am sorry to hear that you were short one night from being Platinum Elite. In reviewing account, it shows that you are Lifetime Platinum Elite. To protect the integrity of our loyalty program, we are unable to gift elite nights for any reason. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. We value your loyalty towards Marriott Bonvoy® and thank you for being a Lifetime Platinum Elite Marriott member. If you require any further assistance, I will be happy to assist you Marlene
