https://lnkd.in/gDJUi9Wh Mana has been selected for advancement to contract negotiations for its Sodium-Ion Battery Seedling project, joining significant recent funding efforts by the DOE to advance US competitiveness in energy storage technologies. Thank you to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Vehicle Technologies Office for the selection. If we initiate and execute the project, Mana will deliver prototype sodium-ion cells containing our flagship technology - an advanced, low cost, self-extinguishing electrolyte formulation designed specifically to enhance lifetime and safety in sodium-ion cells - to a select group of partners including EV manufacturers, pack manufacturers, and a national laboratory.

ION Storage Systems has secured $40 million in funding from the Department of Energy’s ARPA-E SCALEUP program and private investors to accelerate the commercialization of its innovative solid-state batteries (SSBs).
