Large-area grain segmentation image of LPBF 316L stainless steel. The CrystalView texture image was generated in under 10 minutes and then segmented by Dream3D using a 6-degree misorientation tolerance and size filter of 20 pixels. This demonstrates CrystalView LAGS over 10,000 grains for increased confidence compared to EBSD. One question I get a lot is can you print transparent? Well no. Especially with FDM that is basically impossible. But we can do translucent. ABSi material from Stratasys is both stronger than basic ABS, and it is translucent so you can see light through it and even monitor fluid flow. So it is a great material for the right applications. #3dprinting
