It's been a little over 3 months at TeamBridge and each day I'm getting more confident in the team we're building, and in understanding the type of talent that's going to excel in our unique, highly technical environment. Hey hey friends, colleagues, and folks I likely once spammed as an SDR (sorry bout that...) I'm on the search for my next role and would love any help or advice that you might have to offer! I'm looking for either... 1) A Product Manager role (2-4 YOE) at a series B or later B2B SaaS company OR 2) A early stage start-up with product-market fit, a leadership team with a track record of growing companies, a strong product background and at least one other PM already in place. My most recent roles have been technical/integrations heavy, but I have previously worked on customer-facing experiences and would love to return to that world. It's only Friday, but next week's calendar already looks full (at least Mon-Wed): * 15 qualified demos (100% inbound) * 4 onboarding calls * 2 case study write-up calls * 2 post-trial calls -> converting to paid I'm sure the volume will ~double by the end of next week. So...... *hiring alert* Looking for a cracked account manager that wants who wants to grow their career as the 1st hire. Ecom. Role will evolve wherever your skills & our needs meet. I'd bet our company is growing faster than your current career path. I recently referred someone for a job at Google after their cold outreach on LinkedIn. This rarely happens and I encourage candidates to look to their close professional/academic relationships. However, the person sent a message that I loved. Here is why it grabbed my attention: 1. The person was very specific about the role they were targeting. This means less work for me to help them identify what would fit their background and interests. 2. The message (in 3 short bullet points) made a strong case for why their background aligned with the job's needs. 3. Lastly, the message was short and to the point (with zero grammatical errors) so I was able to read it and understand the ask in less than 20 seconds. This candidate has given me permission to share the message as a template 🎉 so check it out below👇[no need to comment/DM] “Hi [First Name], I’m writing about the PM role at [Company Name] specifically [Role Name]. Here’s why I’m a great fit: - 5 + years of experience as a product manager at [x company] extensively in payments and consumer facing products. - Managed a cross-functional team of 8, including engineers and designers, to launch the product. - Provided regular updates to senior leadership on product performance, key initiatives and strategic recommendations Let me know in case you can refer or help me get in touch with someone who is hiring for the role. Thanks in advance!” Note: It also helps to reach out to individuals who understand your job role very well. If you can spend some time discussing your experience with them, it will make for a much better referral.

Because it's so easy, it gets spammed. I can tell you from experience that when you see a job with 100+ applications, only a handful of applications are relevant (at best). And the good ones get lost amongst the spam. It's not good for the candidates. It's not good for the recruiting companies. And it's not good for LinkedIn. Agree?
