Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust’s Post

We are delighted to announce that Leeds Teaching Hospitals has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2025 HSJ Digital Awards. Our Recovery Care Plan has been shortlisted for the Connecting Health and Social Care through Digital award. Part of HomeFirst, Leeds’ intermediate care transformation programme, the Plan supports communication within the multi-disciplinary team, streamlining discharge planning and improving the patient experience by centralising discussions and interventions in one shared digital space. Thomas Burden, Senior Programme Manager has been shortlisted for Digital Innovator of the Year, in recognition of his significant impact on our Waste Reduction Programme. By transforming complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, Tom’s innovative tools have revolutionised ways to tackle waste reduction, delivering both immediate financial benefits and long-term potential for wider NHS adoption. Winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in June. https://bit.ly/42eWyaY #HSJDigitalAwards
