What works for me may not necessarily work for you. I can only advise you based on what works for me. But can that necessarily work for you? Not in all the cases. The case is true for everyone else. That's why it's important to do it yourself and learn what works best for you. This has so far been my LinkedIn experience. Copying what others do won't help me. Why? It's because we have different values, different niches, different approaches etc. Try to find out what works for you and stick to it. It's the end. The end of September marks the end of Q3 in the business cycle. How has your quarter been? It's a mixed bag - some people find it quite over the summer months, the school holidays where many go abroad for their annual trip whilst others report a good quarter. Apparently, things are hard, what with the cost of living and the unknown of the government and the incoming budget. But, these are things we cannot control and therefore are not worth our time or energy, instead focusing on what we can control. I've been thinking about my business, what I want, where I want to go and how I can do that. In 2025, I want to run a retreat. I also want to launch a community hub, mixing my goal setting and accountability with operational ideas and solutions from experts in their fields. To do that, I need to prepare - create a blog, create some efficiencies in my communication, showcase my Youtube channel and possibly get on to TikTok. I'm also looking at me, my health and fitness regime together with my overall look and image. I can use Q4 to set some goals that will begin that journey. How about you? Talk about your business to people, you might be talking to the right person about it. “I have been posting my business on different social media platforms and have also paid for ads, but I have not seen results. Also, admin tasks are overwhelming me.” Last week, I went shopping with my mom. While we were fitting some of the clothes we were interested in, the business owner started that conversation. It was our first time at her shop and her opening up to us sent a signal to my mind. I took that opportunity to ask her a few questions.  Some of the questions I asked include: -Which social media platforms do you use? -What type of posts do you post? Is it just pictures? -Do you have any knowledge of running ads? -Which types of admin tasks are overwhelming you? -Have you tried asking for help from a professional? I was asking these questions to try and understand her pain points and try to understand her needs. I noticed that she needed help so I offered to volunteer my services to her for free. Giving back to society is one of my goals this year. I hope to touch lives and change circumstances in this way. If you are a busy professional or founder and feel overwhelmed with tasks, ask for help and don’t do it all alone. Have a productive week ahead!

The Best Creator Lessons Hit When You’re at Rest These last couple of months have been hard. On all fronts. I wish I can tell you it's been all rainbows and sunshine, but here's the thing: It takes a lot of rain before you ever witness a rainbow. Do you ever come to the unfortunate conclusion that you're the cause for majority of your pain? For the past couple of months, I've been digging around for problems that don't actually exist. I've been trying to find problems in my: - Relationship - Work - Business - Health And it's been a whole shit show of self sabotaging on repeat. "Why can't I just accept that there are no problems?" "That nothing needs to be fixed?" "And that it's okay to allow yourself some fucking peace." The truth? Sometimes I just want to burn everything to the ground. I am my harshest critic, and I'll take a guess that you are, too. I'm also impatient as fuck, and maybe you are too. But as I'm sitting here, writing in my backyard, I've concluded that it's okay to enjoy a plateau. I have a harder time resting than climbing. But if you ever want to climb the biggest mountain on earth, you need to give yourself time to take breaks. Acclimate to the new height. Adjust your breathing to the new elevation. And maybe take a moment to look down at the journey that you've traveled. It's been a 3 year journey. But I'm not giving it up. I'm not burning it all down. ✨ January Reflections: New Connections, Growth & Excitement! ✨ This month has been all about stepping out, making fascinating new connections, and learning about the amazing things people are working on. 💼🤝 It's been inspiring to have those 1:1s, hear their stories, and discover ways I can genuinely support them. What’s also blown me away is the energy people are bringing to their content, I’m talking all guns blazing, sharing their big plans and exciting goals for the year ahead. I’m here for it and can’t wait to cheer them on! 🎉 On a personal note, I’ve brought back virtual coffee chats this month and already have some booked until mid-February.  There’s something so refreshing about these informal yet powerful conversations, they truly spark new ideas and collaborations. ☕ Since then, I’ve been joining more online networking, joined some fantastic communities, and signed up for more masterclasses that I believe truly will benefit me. I’ve also been focusing more on health & wellness sessions, and I’m already noticing some positive changes. Focusing on growth, both professionally and personally, has been so exciting!
