PR3 and its partners are developing reuse standards to facilitate industry's shift from single-use packaging.      PR3's standard for container washing, inspection, and packing in reusable packaging systems is open for public comment. This standard aims to establish clear requirements for washing containers that can be reused.    As reusable packaging continues to be sought after by consumers and industry, it is important to determine how businesses and users can establish and benefit from reusable packaging models.    To provide your feedback follow the link in the comments. #reuse

Estimates suggest that approximately 855 billion plastic sachets are used globally each year. Repaq - compostable packaging, in collaboration with GK Sondermaschinenbau, has developed what is claimed to be the world’s first home and garden compostable film packaging for ketchup. Following a comprehensive and rigorous testing phase, they have successfully optimised Repaq materials for small-portion sachets designed to contain liquid and viscous products such as soy sauce and mustard.
