  • Sorting your plastic waste isn’t just a small step—it has a big impact!    Every plastic tray you recycle can return to the market in a closed-loop system, like the one at Faerch. Effective sorting at home means less waste in landfill and incineration, and more recycled material for a circular economy. 🌱    #SustainablePackaging #CircularEconomy #Recycled #FoodPackaging #NyttigVirksomhed

  • Freshness matters. Simplifications and delays and what not; There is a huge wave of regulations coming our way. And let us be honest, it is scary complex and many companies, us included, are still figuring out what impact it will have, how to allocate resources to cope with it, and what choices to make now for the long run. But despite the confusion and complexity, regulations that push us towards the right choices is a good thing. They level the playing field. And regulation represents a real commercial opportunity for companies that truly get sustainability. At Faerch Group, together with our owners A.P. Moller Holding, we are fully committed to gearing our business to be fit for the future. That means making deliberate choices: from building infrastructure to increasing transparency. Our Cirrec recycling plant, SBTi targets and sustainability report - that is just the beginning. ♻️ The regulation coming in will focus on circularity and enourage responsible resource use. And we welcome this. Because when companies focus on reducing resource use, they are not just being sustainable - they are optimizing operations, cutting costs, and often boosting profitability. Just as design decisions determine a product’s cost structure, it also dictate its sustainability impact, recyclability, and resource efficiency. The smartest companies already know this: designing for efficiency, optimizing supply chains, and reducing waste is not just good for the planet: it is good business. And that is what my colleagues and I at Faerch spend our days on. Figuring out how to do things more efficiently in terms of resource use. 👣 Better for our footprint. 📈 Better for our profit. By being better than yesterday.
