The end of 2024 is soon upon us. This year, the world has witnessed its share of turmoil and heart-wrenching losses. Amidst the shadows of such events, we still yearn for a glimmer of hope as we attempt to peer into what 2025 might hold. For some, the new year brings the familiar mantra: “Brand new year, brand new me.” But why must it be new? Why not something better instead? A “new” version suggests starting over, leaving the past behind as though it held no value. But a “better” version acknowledges growth and improvement, building upon the experiences—good and bad—that have shaped us. A better version of yourself is not about erasing who you were but refining who you are, learning from the past, and striving toward the person you’re meant to be. Life is fleeting and unpredictable. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, and opportunities don’t always find their way to us. That’s why we must dare to live boldly, with no regrets. Take risks. Try. You may not always succeed, but even “mini” failures and successes can become meaningful chapters in the story of your life. If life were a book, wouldn’t it be richer for the twists and turns, the lessons learned, and the courage to move forward? As we step into 2025, my prayer is this: that we each find the strength to recalibrate, rediscover, and refocus on our life’s purpose. Let us not just chase after the new but strive to become a better version of ourselves. Let us learn to embrace our journey—the successes, the failures, the moments that shape us—and dare to take that first step into the unknown. May the new year inspire us all to live with intention, hope, and courage, growing into better versions of ourselves each day. Blessed better year everyone! 🥰

The first full week of the year is always exciting—it’s that perfect time to hit the ground running and start making strides toward those big, ambitious goals. Like many of you, I was ready to dive in, energized to turn my 2025 plans into reality. But life had other plans. After returning from a beautiful trip to New Mexico last week to celebrate a friend’s wedding, I was hit by the flu bug. Just like that, my week turned upside down. Instead of powering through my to-do list and chasing those goals, I’ve spent the last few days battling exhaustion and prioritizing recovery. And you know what? It’s been a humbling reminder. Adversity doesn’t wait for the “right time.” It shows up uninvited, often when we least expect it. But here’s the silver lining: it gives us an opportunity to reflect, recalibrate, and grow. This week, I’m leaning into patience—reminding myself that progress isn’t always linear. Taking care of my health now ensures I can show up stronger for the rest of the year. My goals aren’t going anywhere; they’ll still be there when I’m ready to tackle them full force. To anyone else who’s feeling a rocky start to 2025—whether it’s illness, unexpected setbacks, or simply a slower pace than you’d hoped—you’re not alone. Take it one step at a time. Rest when you need to. The important thing is to stay committed to your vision and pick back up when the time is right. So cheers to resilience, self-compassion, and a year full of growth—no matter how it begins. Excited to be over this bug and interacting with all of you on this platform that have become very much a part of my week.

Happy New Year, 2025! 🎉 As we step into this new year, I know many of us carry the weight of the past year’s challenges. For some, 2024 may have been filled with unexpected setbacks, unanswered prayers, or moments of doubt. And it’s true—January 1st is, in many ways, just another day. But it’s also an invitation. An invitation to believe, to try again, and to hold on to hope. Change doesn’t come from the turning of a calendar—it comes from the small, consistent steps we take each day. It comes from the strength to rise, even when it feels easier to stay down. If 2024 tested you, know that you are stronger than you were before. And if you’re stepping into 2025 feeling unsure, know this: every great story has moments of struggle, but it’s in those moments that we find the resilience to build something greater. This year, I challenge all of us to show up for ourselves and for each other—to embrace hope, even when it feels distant, and to take one small step toward the life we envision. Here’s to growth, resilience, and brighter days ahead. Let’s make 2025 a year of possibility, together.

What I’ve learned before closing the year ↓ This year stretched me— mentally, emotionally, and beyond. But here are my takeaways: 1. Never stop trying. Even when it seems impossible. Your breakthrough could be one more try away. I remember starting this year clueless. Looking back, I’m just grateful. It’s been God all the way—it could only be Him. 2. Never take relationships for granted. They could literally save your life. Fr! Invest in knowing and meeting people. Be in spaces that offer you platforms, effortlessly. Relationships are currencies— you don’t always have to spend money. 3. Always keep learning. You never know which lesson will lead to your breakthrough. Gather the right knowledge and skills. Equip yourself for the breakthrough you seek. These lessons are what I’m taking away from this year. Let me know in the comments— what’s your highlight for 2024? How’s preparation for Christmas week? Do you have plans for the holidays? My holiday is going to be super busy starting from today, and I’m loving every bit of it. Let’s make the last full week of 2024 count! 🥂

HARD LESSONS If there’s one lesson I’ve learned this year, it’s the grace to walk away: • Walk away from people who don’t believe in you or your vision. • Walk away from disrespect, judgment, and unnecessary unkindness. • Walk away from those who try to hold you back or impose their expectations on you. Running a firm, supporting my team at RAVINDRAN Advocates & Solicitors, caring for my family, and balancing my health and life made 2024 a year of hard but transformative lessons. Here are my key takeaways: 🌟 Stand firm when challenges come your way. You did not come this far on just luck or serendipity. It also took grit and hard work and dogged determination. 🌟 Determination is fuel. Being underestimated only pushes us to achieve more. Everyone deserves a good shake-up once in a while, or else life becomes boring. 🌟 You owe no one an explanation for how you choose to live. As long as you are not hurting anyone, you choose how you live. 🌟 Boundaries matter— Learn to recognise disrespect and then learn not to tolerate it. 🌟 Choose your battles wisely; not everything or everyone deserves your energy and time. 🌟 You can’t please everyone, and you don’t need to. 🌟 Family and friends are your foundation—time with loved ones is irreplaceable. 🌟 Health is everything—take care of your body, mind, and soul. 🌟 Find your tribe and hold them close. These are the people who weather storms with you. 🌟 Recognize and distance yourself from hidden enemies quickly and then don't look back. 🌟 Perseverance is the key to success—keep going, even when it feels impossible. 🌟 My team at Ravindran stood by me through thick and thin. Their belief in me inspires me to show up for them every day. 2024 has been a rollercoaster, but as I reflect, I’m grateful for the lessons that shaped me. To all my LinkedIn friends, I wish you an incredible 2025 filled with love, adventure, abundance, and good health. Here’s to a new year of growth and opportunity!

I learned a lot this year. As my final year training to be a doctor, and as a coach. Here's what I'm taking to 2025- 1) Investing in time out of work. Personal connection deserves time too. Prioritising loved ones should always be on the agenda. 2) Investing in learning. 2025 will be the biggest year yet for my company. I will also be a year 1 resident, and need to learn from my seniors everyday. 3) Investing in my health. I set an example for my clients. You have to make time to be healthy and strong. For them and yourself! 4) Investing in travel. I'm going to the other side of the world to do sports medicine. We don't learn best in our comfort zones. 5) Investing in reflection. We all have traits that make us uniquely successful. Likewise some that we can build on (if we acknowledge them). Grateful for an exceptional year. Excited to explore my careers as a doctor and coach. And explore the world with my partner. What are your big takeaways from 2024? Wishing you all a happy new year 🎆 (Picture is January and the first baby I ever delivered. Blessed to work in an area where magic happens.)

As 2024 draws to a close, many of us find ourselves reflecting on the year’s defining moments—the triumphs, the setbacks, and the decisions that shaped our paths. For some, it was a year of courage, marked by bold steps into the unknown. Perhaps it was leaving behind a secure job to pursue a dream or making the difficult choice to walk away from relationships that no longer served us. These moments required us to stand firm in the face of uncertainty, to trust that even when the outcome was unclear, the act of choosing growth over comfort would lead us forward. The year wasn’t without its hard lessons. Challenges often came disguised as decisions that felt too heavy to bear. Maybe you had to say goodbye to a loved one, change the trajectory of your career, or confront a failure that shook your confidence. But in every moment of difficulty, there was a lesson waiting to be uncovered. These experiences brought out our grit and resilience and challenged our integrity and purpose. But they also reminded us that setbacks are not the end of the story—they’re stepping stones to something greater. As we step into a new year, let’s carry these lessons with us. Let’s use the courage we summoned in 2024 as fuel for creating an even brighter future. Hard decisions often lead to incredible growth, and challenges push us toward our greatest potential. By reflecting on where we’ve been and embracing the strength we’ve built, we set the stage for a year filled with purpose, progress, and endless possibilities. The end of 2024 isn’t just a closing chapter—it’s the start of something extraordinary. Happy Holidays to all!

"Turning Pain Into Power : Hope the Guiding Lighthouse" As I reflect on this year ending 2024, it feels like a journey every ounce of strength, resilience, and patience within me... This year 2024 has been nothing short of a storm filled with emotions, challenges, and moments that pushed me to my limits. I faced each day with courage, even when the path ahead was unclear. Like a lighthouse standing tall amidst raging waves, hope became my guiding light. But, through it all, I held on to the belief that growth often comes disguised as struggle. Every touch decision, sleepless night, and hard-earned lessons became a stepping stone in my journey ahead. This year taught me the real meaning of perseverance. With Hope as my anchor, I turned my pain into power. This journey wasn't easy- it required resilience, faith and the courage to keep moving forward, even when the path wasn't clear. As this year 2024! end, I choose to carry forward the lessons, and most importantly, the gratitude for having made it through. None of this would have been possible without relentless support of my family and friends whose belief in me never wavered. They stood by me through the toughest times and also celebrated with me in the happiest ones. As we march into 2025, I embrace new opportunities with open arms, fueled by the Hope and resilience, that have guided me through the past year. With sincere gratitude for all, I await to step into the new year 2025 with optimism, hope, determination, and renewed energy. #God says: " Prepare Yourself, I am about to take you to another Level in your Life"
