What stood out wasn’t just the expertise, it was the spark in the speakers' eyes. That spark happens when you realize: we’re moving in the right direction, but only if we involve everyone in the innovation process. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 🔹 Dr. Swetlana Franken highlighted how men and women use AI differently. Men tend to rely on it for technical tasks, while women approach it more pragmatically, especially for career estimation. This underscores the 𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐈 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞! 🔹 Dr. Tanja Schmidt (INES Analytics GmbH) shared their impressive AI tool, which is built on deep tech and 20 years of expertise! It evaluates decisions across 4 key diversity dimensions: gender, age, disability, and origin. It ensures fairer, more balanced outcomes. 🔹 Vanessa Theel (SUMM AI) introduced a text simplification tool using existing LLMs. It makes the content clearer and more accessible, already helping public institutions like Bürgeramt communicate more effectively. 👉 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫? Thanks, Zsofia, for the summary! It was a pleasure to listen to such inspiring panels & important conversations yesterday. #AI has the potential to drive innovation, but only if it's built by and for everyone. A key challenge remains: bias in AI mirrors bias in society. If we don't address the underlying inequalities, we risk technology amplifying them. Diversity isn't just a checkbox - it's a necessity for ethical and effective AI. AI literacy must be accessible to all, ensuring that diverse perspectives shape the way we build and use these tools. Inclusive AI means better AI - because innovation thrives on diverse experiences, backgrounds and ways of thinking. And thanks to Vanessa Theel (SUMM AI) for demonstrating her text simplification tool in person - it's really great! Many thanks to the F.A.Z. Institut for organising the #𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭!  #Innovation #ArtificialIntelligence
