Why is NewImpact a nonprofit? Jens Molbak explains the reasoning behind this decision. Jens believes the idea of tri-sector solutions is incredibly powerful. While he sees great investment potential in tri-sector models, limiting it to a fund would only benefit a small number of companies. How can grant funders and social investors collaborate to catalyse change for children in care? Earlier this week, Sumerian's Isabelle Irani and Nivethika Srirangan joined colleagues and partners from the MariaMarina Foundation, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and Purposeful Ventures for an action-oriented conversation on how we can catalyse and collaborate around systems change in the children in care sector. It was great to have a range of perspectives around the table including grant funders and social investors. At Sumerian, we believe grant funders and social investors should regularly collaborate and unlock meaningful and transformative support that enables innovative social enterprises and charities to deliver scalable solutions to pressing social problems.
