The Hudson River Museum was proud to receive our 2025 Award of Distinction from the Museum Association of New York (MANY) at the “Cultivating Community: Looking In, Reaching Out” conference this week! The HRM was recognized for its Free First Fridays programming in the Engaging Communities category, which celebrates organizations that use exceptional and resourceful methods to engage their communities and build new audiences. We are grateful to Art Bridges Foundation for their support of Free First Fridays through their Access for All initiative. This series has been an unequivocal success for the Museum, attracting more than 2,000 visitors, including many first-time visitors, from throughout the region. You can also help to support programs like these with a gift to our Annual Fund. During these turbulent times, your participation and support is more important than ever.
