Here’s a great example of why surveys aren’t just about scores. Customers provide comments asking us to thank the line workers and other employees on their behalf. You know the service was outstanding when customers remember the names of the people that helped them, sometimes months later. Our team created this program to make sure the message was passed on. Seeing what our AEP companies are doing with these awards (making them frame worthy!) is one of the reasons I love my job. More importantly we make sure that our employees, in these essential jobs, know how much they are appreciated. To all my VOC/CX colleagues, take time to read customer comments. They really are a gift.
LINEWORKER APPRECIATION: Two of our lineworkers, Mike Smith and Joshua Morris, were recently honored for going above and beyond. They were recognized by Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) President/COO Brett Mattison and others during a recent leadership meeting (video). And over the last few days, our SWEPCO customers received emails with a direct link to send a 'thank you' to our lineworkers, just in time for National Lineworker Appreciation Day on April 18.
