The other day, I went to the farm with some of my siblings to harvest corn. My mom insisted that she wanted to have some roasted corn that afternoon. As I took my bucket and headed to the farm to harvest a small amount of corn for roasting, I discovered that everything was dried up. At some point, I almost gave up on the quest for fresh corn. Nevertheless, I started moving from one stalk to another, harvesting everything. Soon, my siblings joined me, and after some hours of coordination, they all felt tired because there was quite a bit to harvest. As one of them picked up the harvested corn and started leaving, I insisted that I wasn't going anywhere until the farm was completely harvested. In my determination to finish, I noticed that the remaining corn was covered with strange weeds and creepy plants. However, upon closer inspection, I found some healthy and good-looking maize and even a few fresh ears in some areas. I forged through the thick grass, feeling ambushed at times. While harvesting, I reflected on the saying "Good things do not come easy ,📌." I realized that good things do not come to us; we have to seek them out and sometimes work hard to obtain them. 📌Determination will always yield great results, no matter the obstacles we face. 📌Until you accomplish your set goals, do not give up. 📌Lastly, my siblings almost discouraged me. If you are on your way to achieving your goals, take control and do not allow anyone to shift your focus. Love, #Glorious ©️Gloryinspire #Lightoftheworld
