Throughout our journey, we encounter many people—some good, some challenging. However, each person teaches us something valuable, and it's our perspective that defines the experience. Anmol bhaiya, you are one of the best person I've ever met. Your unwavering support, even when you were busy, has been invaluable to me. I’ve learned so much from you. To me, you are more than just a senior; you are a mentor and a friend. I fondly recall those nights when I was stuck and feeling helpless, saying, "Bhaiya, I can't do this." You were always there to guide me through, patiently explaining everything in detail. There are two kinds of people in this world: those who create problems and those who help solve them. You are undeniably the latter. I also cherish the times we spent brainstorming unique ideas for events. Every successful event has a strong team behind it, and you were always at the heart of ours. I still remember: - Your constructive criticism... - Your insightful lectures... - Your innovative thinking... - Your way of conveying important truths about people I was close to but didn't fully understand 😅 - Your sharp observations... - Your constant drive to do something different. So that I did! 💜 I share my favorite moments, what keeps me going, my strategy in developing my team and my response to the ever popular question: what advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the event industry. This year has been nothing short of a major blessing - the yeses, the nos, the not quite yet. The successes, the fail forwards. The anxiety inducing moments, the overwhelmingly joyous moments that brought tears. I won’t trade any of it! I even had my most “viral” post on LinkedIn this year, still 🤯 about that! Speaking your truth has value. Holding your boundaries has value. Knowing who you are has value. Learn to be simple, don't complicate things 6. Always choose Quality over Quantity 7. Take care of your body, it's the only place you have to live. Your health is your wealth. 8. Mastery is achieved through several failures and repetition. Its OK to fail 9. It's hard to beat a person who never give up, so please don't give up. When Your Company Strikes Gold and You Get... Pizza? 🍕💰 Alright, gather 'round for a tale of two companies! Company A (let's call them "Dough-verload Inc.") just had a record-breaking quarter.  The CEO's grinning like he won the lottery, and the shareholders are doing backflips.  So how do they thank their hardworking team? drumroll With a pizza party! 🎉 Now, don't get me wrong.  I love a good slice as much as the next person.  But when the company's swimming in cash, and you're drowning in pepperoni, something doesn't quite add up! 🤔 Meanwhile, in the land of "We Actually Appreciate Our Employees": 1. Google once surprised their staff with $1000 cash bonuses and 10% raises across the board.  Talk about a "Google search" worth doing! 💻💰 2. Airbnb gives employees an annual $2000 travel stipend.  "Sorry, can't come to the meeting, I'm busy appreciating my job from a beach in Bali." 🏖️ 3. Tesla has been known to reward top performers with actual Tesla cars.  I guess "employee of the month" parking spot just doesn't cut it anymore! 🚗 4. Amazon offers to pay 95% of tuition for employees to train for in-demand jobs.  Because nothing says "thanks" like investing in someone's future (and potentially creating your own competition). 📚 5. Twitter (pre-Elon era) once gifted custom-made Tiffany & Co. glass bird ornaments to all employees.  Because nothing says "we value you" like breakable tchotchkes, right? 🐦 As the great Richard Branson once said, "Clients do not come first. Employees come first.  If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients." Now, I'm not saying we all need to start handing out luxury cars (though I wouldn't complain).  But maybe, just maybe, when the company hits the jackpot, the celebration could involve more than just extra cheese.
