Ema Unlimited reposted this
As I wrap up 6+ months with Ema Unlimited, I’ve wanted to share what I love about working here. Especially as it's named one of America’s Greatest Startup Workplaces in 2025 — by Newsweek, no less! Some of Ema’s operational values are truly close to how I like to do all my work: - We cut to the chase: Nobody likes meetings that serve no purpose or go on longer than they need to, like this sentence. Everyone at Ema is super busy, operating at 10x the norm, which means we’re always mindful and respectful of each other’s time. We’re super prepared for meetings, communicate abundantly in writing/async, unblock each other and remove dependencies, and actively strive to be an efficient, no-BS workplace. - High ownership, impact, learning, and tech-savviness: I’m supposed to lead content, but for me that’s meant lots of writing (with and without AI), social media, growth, search, product, events, performance ads, brand building—all a marketer’s dream playground, with the ability to set up and drive many things end-to-end. Everyone at Ema plays a “10x role”, finding ways to be high-output constantly—which is fair, considering we’re a startup out to 10x productivity at the world’s largest companies with Agentic AI. - Genuinely inspiring leadership, in the exciting/scary space of AI: Feedback comes rapidly, expectations are always high, and the industry moves faster than any space I've been in — but this has resulted in an environment where I get to work with some of the smartest, most productive people I know. I can't think of a better team and leadership to conquer this space. I've worked across FMCG, media, tech/D2C startups, in the role of a marketer, a writer of various kinds, and an engineer too. What makes Ema doubly special is that I happen to be here as my first book comes out. Super excited for Ema and all we'll achieve going forward! Swati Trehan Surojit Chatterjee
