Dviation Group’s Post

Aircraft maintenance is horrible for the environment. How we’re changing that: Aircraft maintenance has always been paper-intensive. Huge volumes of records. Filing. Updating. Signing off. Every time an aircraft comes in for maintenance, it brings its paper history with it. Thankfully, the industry is shifting towards digitalisation. E-paperwork. E-signatures. E-logbooks. Why this is great: • Reduce carbon footprint • Streamline processes • Reduce errors • Save time • Cut costs At Dviation, we're proud to be at the forefront of this revolution. Dviation Technics has been paperless since 2023, powered by a cloud-based MRO software. Enjoyed this post? I would agree on the over emphasis and fixation with the traditional paper approach. First and foremost there needs to be stronger advocacy to go paperless. The paperless initiative is more sustainable. However we need to start convincing the Regulators and certain parties within the industry to let go of the traditional paper approach. “It’s the Unwillingness to Let Go which is why change is not happening fast enough “. If there is continued apprehension and reluctance to go Paperless then I think we are going to see the Paper Trail continue itself on to the next decade or two.
