This presentation outlines the project to develop a methodology to ingest the various OEM parts data, regardless of source format, along with Atlas Engineering info, to create a master Allowable Configuration that could be compared with the MRO software system. As you will see a tool was created to provide a visual dashboard to allow Atlas Air Configuration Engineering to review and validate potential differences. This methodology and tool are allowing Atlas Air to quickly identify and document differences, improve clarity and accuracy within its MRO software system, and avoid misconfiguration of aircraft.
