Elonroad selected to the EU Sustainable Mobility Forum (STF) 🇪🇺 We are happy to announce that our CEO, Karin Ebbinghaus, has been selected to represent Elonroad at the STF, participating in two critical subgroups: ➡️ Member (Type C) of the STF subgroup on recharging and refuelling infrastructure for zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles.  ➡️ Observer of the STF subgroup on European Union e-mobility Public Key Infrastructure ecosystem management. This recognition highlights Elonroad’s leadership in advancing sustainable transport solutions and our contribution to the transition towards a zero-emission future. The STF, established by the European Commission, serves as a platform for structural dialogue, technical knowledge exchange, cooperation, and coordination among Union Member States and key stakeholders. It supports deploying alternative fuel infrastructure, aligning with the EU’s energy and climate goals. The STF plenary comprises 60 members, including representatives from Member States, public entities, international organizations, and expert organizations (Type C members). These members are at the forefront of sustainable mobility, representing manufacturers, infrastructure operators, academia, and civil society organizations. 🚤💦 Commuting by car is a thing of the past, the present lies in harnessing our waterways! With transport accounting for about a quarter of the EU's total greenhouse gas emissions, innovative ways to move people and goods around cities need to be developed. Norwegian startup Zeabuz aims to answer this call, with the rollout of the world's first autonomous electric passenger ferries. “Autonomous water transport can be better than traditional water transport – you can go electric sooner, because you can build smaller vessels and still be competitive with costs,” reports Carl Petersson, Zeabuz' Business Development Manager.
