Designed for precision, this unit is capable of cutting a variety of materials, including industrial packaging of high value products and point-of-sale signage. Product launches by mechanical engineering companies & co. have long since ceased to take place only at K. The trade fair is also exciting for us because it is located in the immediate vicinity of the medical center in and around Tuttlingen. Medtec applications have overtaken the automotive sector in terms of our turnover - and the trend is rising.   📰 What are the "hot topics" for you this year? 👨💼 As a system provider, we continue to see functional integration as an overriding trend. Components combine a wide variety of properties and make them accessible: Light guidance with a disappearing effect, temperature control, haptic feedback, biologically effective surfaces - the list is endless. The item should come out of the machine ready to use and only need to be electrically connected if required.   📰 What should visitors look at your booth? 👨💼 Definitely our TouchBall! We have developed a demonstrator for the various requirements that shows the current state of the art. At our stand 5213 in hall B5, visitors can explore the TouchBall for themselves and, for example, feel where areas heat up when the function is activated beforehand. My first few days at #drupa in Dusseldorf have not disappointed. The crowds are growing with each day and booths of #Canon, #Fujifilm, #HP, #Koenig & Bauer and #Ricoh - just to name a few - are sometimes hard to navigate through. There is also a lot of traffic in the booths of the many Chinese vendors as well. I visited several booths, from small to large, and the big standout there is a lot of interest in what these vendors are bringing to market. There are a broad range of digital label and corrugated presses. There are many web-fed digital presses as well. #Atexco sold one of it’s web-fed presses to ADA Matbaacilik out of Turkey. #Shenzen Sunthinks Technology highlighted that it sold all four presses on the floor; however, they can’t be imported back into China. #Kingt Group has showcasing a number of devices. The H-Press 750S was promoted and demos are available via video. Using Fujifilm Samba heads, it is potentially available in the 2025 timeframe. When asked what markets Kingt Group is selling into today, the answer was “The world is our market.” Perhaps a bit optimistic for the moment; however, clearly a sign important changes coming to market at drupa.
