𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩.... ...Berlin has historically been at the center of decisions that have shaped health and human rights worldwide? From being the birthplace of pivotal 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣'𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 movements to influencing global health policies, Berlin continues to play a crucial role on the global stage. Today, as I sit among politicians, healthcare funding institutions, vaccine manufacturers, distributors, researchers, and civil society activists, I feel the power of collective decision-making. Our goal is clear: 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴. The decisions that would be made at this year's World Health Summit in Berlin are aimed at ensuring that healthcare resources reach all corners of the globe and that 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 is restored within the systems that serve us. We see you, we hear you, and we are committed to coming through for you—especially when it comes to your well-being. 𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘈𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬-𝘔𝘶𝘺𝘶, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘌𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 But what about you? Sharing a valuable summary on women's health from G2G - Innovative Government Affairs Consulting. Two links... to CNN summary of the House Conference on Women’s Health Research and to the recording of the actual meeting. Spoiler alert --> underfunded and understudied. Now we see it. And now we change it...noting opportunity with the Women's Health PAC (bipartisan PAC focused on women's health). On December 11, the White House held a final event as part of their Initiative on Women's Health Research. Led by First Lady Dr. Jill Biden with remarks from President Biden along with Maria Shriver (the ignition for this one-of-a-kind initiative launched on November 13, 2023), the in-depth panels of experts provided an insightful look at several aspects of women's health and the opportunities for accelerating scientific understanding, innovation and better outcomes in the future. Speakers included physicians, researchers, investors, business executives and leaders of national women's health organizations spanning the country. link to CNN summary below and the full recording below. https://lnkd.in/ggQ3qAkp https://lnkd.in/gYqXyM5G

Did You Know… There is limited information quantifying medical gaslighting? Minimal research exists on how medical gaslighting affects women, families, employers, community. No one has quantified the impact of medical gaslighting. Most recommendations put the responsibility back on women rather than addressing the root cause of the issue. We have a research protocol that will identify and address this challenge and are looking for partners to collaborate with us.
