Can an AI really ask probing questions? Yeah sure. People are always skeptical - at first. This is a typical "deep dive question" in Conveo. Just like a human researcher, our AI interviewer takes into account: - Research objectives - Background knowledge - Previous answers - Next questions And formulates the next question keeping best practices in mind! Beware of the so-called AI experts who are giving surface-level talks about AI’s history or rehashing things they’ve found online. Particularly with #GenerativeAI, it’s simply an extension of our own intelligence—what you put in is what you get out. Tip: Focus on clear inputs to achieve meaningful outputs. Beginner Prompt: “Help me understand [topic of choice] by breaking it down into three simple and clear paragraphs. Provide insights or suggestions I can use to take action or make decisions” Without understanding how to use it effectively, we risk falling behind while others move ahead.

The AI Test Bench: We’ve Got Something New for You ↓ We’ve been working on something exciting. A new resource category dedicated to AI experiments is coming. Starting tomorrow, we will publish a weekly AI test exploring how AI models reason, adapt, and make decisions in complex scenarios across a selection of core categories. First Experiment ↓ → Can OpenAI’s o1 Adapt Its Moral Reasoning? ↳ We tested o1’s responses to variations of the Heinz Dilemma, challenging it to navigate different moral perspectives and constraints. What to Expect ↓ → AI’s ability to adjust moral priorities based on context. → How incentives and external pressures shape AI decisions. → Surprising insights into AI’s moral reasoning process. Stay tuned. This is just the beginning of a weekly exploration into AI’s high-level capabilities. What moral dilemmas and scenarios should we test next? Let us know in the comments. #AIExperiments #MoralReasoning #AIEthics #ResponsibleAI #LumenovaAI

While working on GenAI models, I noticed that sometimes responses become repetitive after a few iterations. After exploring the literature, I came across a method, Variational Transformers, that introduces structured diversity in generated text. Unlike standard approaches that tweak word probabilities, this method learns a latent space of meaning, allowing AI to generate responses that vary not just in wording, but in thought process. I have summarized the concept in this blog, enjoy reading, and feel free to share your thoughts! https://lnkd.in/dnQewQNN

AI tech is a very noisy space at the moment, So, what can you do to break through the noise and evaluate it in the right way? During Pillar's May webinar with Matt Alder last week, he shared 2 things to keep in mind... 1️⃣ You need to think about technology strategically in terms of the outcomes it can give you. 2️⃣ Ensue that you're asking questions on how the AI works. How does it make decisions? How is it learning? Is it actually doing something (not just vendors saying their product has AI to jump on the bandwagon)? Watch the clip below to hear more - and if interested, check out the full 1-hour webinar & the recap blog here: https://lnkd.in/dNwQU5Ad.
