As the year winds down, I find myself reflecting on everything the wins, the challenges, and the lessons in between. What went well? For me, it was leaning into opportunities I never thought I’d be ready for. From balancing motherhood, caregiving, and building a business, I surprised myself with how much I could handle when I stayed focused. What didn’t? Let’s be honest, some days I felt completely overwhelmed. Doubt crept in more than once, and there were times I felt like giving up. But those moments taught me the most. What did I learn? • Growth happens outside your comfort zone. • Progress isn’t about speed—it’s about consistency. • And most importantly, I’m capable of more than I ever imagined. As I step into the new year, my focus is clear: to continue showing up for myself, my family, and the people I’m helping along the way. What about you? Take a moment to look back. Celebrate the wins, learn from the challenges, and plan for an even brighter year ahead. Let’s make this next year one of purpose, growth, and balance. What’s one thing you’re proud of this year? Share it with me I’d love to celebrate with you! 🎉

One year older! It’s my birthday today and here are a few things I’ve learned in business this year: 1) The things you strive for that you don’t yet have are simply a “not yet” because you need to learn lessons, meet people, or have something to experience in place of. All the things you desire are meant for you, keep going if you don’t have them right now. 2) Relationships are the most important, working on quality relationships is the key to the pleasant and joyful experience in life and in business you want to have. Foster those and pour your time and energy into quality ones! 3) When you feel small, defeated, or not as impactful, just do a brain dump and the cross hairs of wins/challenges (from CEO Days) so you realize all that you have on your plate is far more than you’ve been working with in the past. You are more amazing than you are giving yourself credit for. Notice the work, the problems, and the opportunities, not only the results. You are growing! Also, this time is my favorite to have a birthday because I can mark another trip around the sun for my age right next to new years. What are you doing to celebrate 🎉 and to prepare for another year by flipping into a new calendar?

if we met a year from now, what would we be celebrating? I love this question. It provides us an opportunity to both bring intent to our furture and to wrap it in gratitude. Research shows that thinking about the future is helpful to our day-to-day. Making daily decisions in the context of a well envisioned future will: 💪 increase persistence on a task 💪 help us make better daily decisions 💪 aid us to solve problems faster 💪 reduce our procrastination But, all too often we are hustling through our days: fighting fires, doing damage control, on problem patrol, death scrolling social media, or lost in meeting mania. So, what can you do? ✨Start your day with a minute of reflection on the future✨ Choose a date a week, month, or year from now and get clear about 1 thing you want to celebrate. ✨Once a week, remind your team what your are fighting for✨ Choose your medium and share your thoughts on why the world is better with your team in it. ✨Once a year, take stock in what you want to celebrate at this time next year✨ Have a yearly ritual with someone you love. Get together and do two things. First, answer the question of what you want to celebrate a year from now. Then, choose a date and book a place where you will come together a year from now to celebrate all that you accomplished. Plan something fun. Designing tomorrow's future is the antidote to combating the chaos of today.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Tomorrow, Lisa and I will head to San Cruz for a few days of solitude, reflection and shared planning. Over the next few days we will go for a series of walks and reflect on four questions together: *What can we celebrate about the past year? How did we live into our purpose and experience the goodness of life? *What was hard about the past last year? What were the challenges we encountered inside ourselves and the difficulties we faced together? *How do we want life to feel or be different in 2025? *What can we prioritize and focus on to help make that vision a reality? While the effectiveness of New Years’ resolutions can be scrutinized, most of us do take some time to think about what we want and our goals for the future. Although Lisa and I haven’t started our reflection on 2024, I know that one thing I want to focus on in 2025 is being more intentional about where I put my time and attention— rather than going on automatic.

As the year ends, pause.💜 Not to think about what didn’t happen or what’s still ahead... But to honor what did. Every goal you worked toward, Every challenge you faced, Every small win along the way... it all matters. Maybe you learned to rest. Maybe you kept going when it was hard. Maybe you found joy in something simple. Whatever your wins look like, celebrate them. Let yourself feel proud. This isn’t just about checking boxes. It’s about recognizing how far you’ve come. It’s about giving yourself credit for showing up, For trying, For growing. When you celebrate your wins, you remind yourself: You are capable. You are resilient. You are enough. So tonight, as the clock strikes twelve, Celebrate you. Not just for what you’ve achieved, But for the person you’re becoming. Here’s to your journey. Here’s to your wins. Here’s to a new year filled with even more to celebrate. 💛 Happy New Year! 🥂

As you reflect on this year and plan for the next, you’re shaping the milestones you’ll celebrate in the future. By 2035: What could happen that’s so fulfilling, you’d throw a massive party? Talk it over with loved ones, map it out, and let’s make this next year unforgettable. https://lnkd.in/gnmc9yfB

Celebrating Wins! How do you view this? It might seem unnecessary, right? But let's take a moment to reflect. 💃💃💃💃💃💃 We often overlook and undervalue our small but significant achievements. Whether it's passing your exams, starting your LinkedIn profile and steadily building your network, maintaining good health, or effectively acquiring and utilizing new skills, every little win counts. These experiences resonate deeply because they reflect a common journey we all share. Here are a few powerful reasons to recognize and celebrate your small victories: 1. They lay the groundwork for self-awareness. 2. They bolster your belief in your own capabilities. 3. They strengthen your character. 4. They help diminish feelings of imposter syndrome. 5. They bring happiness and joy when you reflect on your accomplishments. The benefits are truly numerous! So, my friends, if you find yourself downplaying your little milestones, take a moment to reflect, be grateful, and celebrate them! How do you celebrate your wins?

We’re all so focused on the destination—the big goals, the next milestone, the “I’ll be happy when…” moments. But let’s be honest… how often do we stop to appreciate the journey? 💫 I recently spoke to a client who had just hit a huge milestone. Instead of celebrating, she was already focused on the next big thing. I get it—we’re driven, ambitious, always reaching for more. But sometimes we forget that every step forward is worth celebrating. 🎉 Here’s the truth: 1️⃣ Growth happens in the journey—not just at the destination. 2️⃣ Small wins fuel big results—take time to acknowledge them. 3️⃣ Reflection brings perspective—look back and see how far you’ve come. 🌟 Take a moment today to appreciate your journey. You’re doing amazing things, and every step forward deserves a little celebration. 🎊 💬 What’s one win you’re celebrating this week—big or small? Drop a 🙌 in the comments and let’s celebrate each other’s journeys!
